Late check-in worked great since I wasn't sure about my arrival. I loved the 11 AM departure time. The hotel is located super close to the train station, like a 2-minute walk. Bedding was immaculate. Breakfast had a good variety of food. The full Scottish breakfast was excellent. I liked that!

The staff were very friendly. The room was quite clean. I found the new bathtub quite nice. The bar provided delicious meals for dinner, and I was pleased they served me even though I arrived a little late. The staff recognized my repeat visit.
The television did not function immediately, because the cable was disconnected from the wall. After reconnecting it, the television worked fine.

parking access was a significant bonus. i found a good pub right on site. the location worked well. It was near everything i needed.
i noticed there was no hairdryer in the room, a bit inconvenient. i had to call reception to request one, and this could be easily fixed by providing a hairdryer in each room.
